About Us

Sofia is the owner/chef and does most of the cooking. Each of her recipes is unique, delicious and very exciting.

When not working in her own kitchen, Sofia spends much of her time at the Evangelistria monastery preparing food, sweetmeats and, especially the honey liquor for which the monastery is famous.

Most evenings, Sofia will be found in her restaurant, welcoming her guests and making sure that everything is perfect.

Jimmy is Sofia's son and he is totally responsible for the running and organising of this superb restaurant and, having worked in other gourmet establishments, has a strict eye for detail.

Jimmy will always be delighted to discuss any part of the menu in his native Greek or his excellent English, and his thorough knowledge of wines enables him to guide you to the right choice.
